An unveiling is a service of commemoration and dedication of a monument. The unveiling service is held after the monument is set at the gravesite or after the second inscription on a double monument has been completed.

MONUMENTS
Riverside Cemetery follows the style of a traditional Jewish Cemetery. Our monument services include installing a concrete foundation (required for all monuments) after a 9-month waiting period, monument leveling and cleaning. Newly installed monuments are maintained level for 10 years. Perpetual Care contracts include cleaning and leveling in perpetuity.

New Jersey law prohibits cemeteries from selling monuments or making inscriptions on monuments. However, a listing of area monument dealers can be found here.
